2012 Podium 1, November 30, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Diamondback 2012 Podium 1 Road Bike (White) (Sports) I purchased a 2012 DiamondBack Podium 1 back in October. I have been on several 20, 30, 40 mile road trips. The bike handles well. I rode a DiamondBack Outlook mountain bike for over 16 years,it has been a good bike, so I went back with DiamondBack. The Podium 1 came mostly put together, I had to install front wheel, seat and seat post and had to run the cables for the front and rear brakes and adjust them. I'm not exactly a bike mechanic, the only component I had to have adjusted were the front and rear derailers. I highly recommend this bike!

No pedals are shown in the picture but they are included. I had the derailers adjusted at a shop for around 30$ - you'll probably want to have this done - once complete it rode perfectly.

I don't use it as much as I would out here in Los Angeles but when I do it's fun. Needs to get calibrated out of box but no biggie. Saddle isn't all that comfortable but then again for the price don't expect anything major. Fast shipping as well.
Gears are okay but could be better.
All in all must have for anyone trying to have some fun riding around under the California Sunshine..
